Limited parking is free on site, and there is also a parking deck nearby for a fee. Will County Vital Records Directory

Birth certificates cost $14 per copy. Death certificates are $16 for the first copy and $8 for each additional one. A marriage license runs $35 to get. Marriage certificates are $14 per copy. The Illinois Department of Public Health also keeps state-level vital records if you need records from other parts of Illinois or want to use the state system instead of the Will County office. The state office has birth and death records from January 1916 forward. For anything earlier, you would need to check with the local county clerk where the event took place.
Illinois law sets rules for who can get certified copies of vital records. The Vital Records Act (410 ILCS 535/) says that birth records are confidential for 75 years. Death records are restricted for 20 years. After those periods, the records become more broadly available.
